CARE PACKAGES
FOR DEPLOYED TROOPS

The Post 9138 Family has coordinated the collection of items and the packing of over 100 care packages along with raising the funds for postage since February 2007.

COMPUTERS FOR TROOPS

The post has collected and refurbished old computers and donated them to the National Guard Armories around the State so loved ones can email and stay in touch with deployed soldiers.  This project has involved hundreds of man hours from post volunteers.

Remember It was the Veteran, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.
It was the Veteran, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.
It was the Veteran, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It was the Veteran, not the campus organizer, who has given us the right to demonstrate.
It is the Veteran who salutes the flag.
Who served under the flag.
Whose coffin is draped by the flag.
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.

.............Father Dennis O'Brien, USMC

FREEDOM!!!
Someone has to do it.
Because, sometimes...... Words can’t !

Thank You Vet’s!
